This week I have found myself in sunny San Diego! At the last minute I got the chance to fly out to California and spend some time with my favorite boys, the Fightin’ Texas Aggie football team!! I will be here all week – including my birthday (tomorrow) and Christmas – to take photos of all of the Holiday Bowl festivities. Although I am sad to be spending the holidays alone, I’m having a lot of fun out here with the boys!! Well this weekend not only did yours truly FINALLY graduate:
But I also got to shoot Mary and Jon’s wedding! This was by far the most beautiful location I have ever shot at – the famed Galvez Hotel in Galveston – but it was also an early morning wedding, which I love. A fun time was had by all and I can’t wait to show off the photos soon. In the meantime, here are a few photos of the gorgeous bride from her bridal session awhile back!
I have finally moved into my new condo and I could NOT be more excited! I hope all of you in Dallas come visit me at my fabulous new place! I’m now living in a highrise condo in Las Colinas, one of the coolest places in all of Texas. If you’re in the Las Colinas area, give me a call! I always love making new friends! I am also SUPER excited about living above the gorgeous Mandalay Canal, the #1 spot for engagement photo shoots in all of Dallas. People come from miles away to have their photos taken here, and I get to live literally on the waterfront! I’m so excited about exploring all the new areas to find cool photo locations.
This week is graduation – what a milestone! It’s also a big milestone for my good friend Mary Croix, who is getting married on Saturday! I met Mary when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding I shot, and I’m honored and excited to be photographing her wedding as well. More info on that later!
The other day I did a portrait session from a good friend of mine, Hanna Jo. “HoJo,” as we like to call her, is adorable, funny, a great singer, and a dead ringer for Kelly Clarkson. HoJo had these photos taken as a present for her dad, and we had a lot of fun shooting these great images!
