Last weekend we were privileged to join Amanda and Kyle in Fort Worth for their very cool, and very RED, wedding! We don’t work in Fort Worth very often, so we loved getting the chance to see two new beautiful places that we have never seen before, McKinney Memorial Bible Church and the Fort Worth Petroleum Club. Plus it’s always useful when the bride and groom are smoking hot!
Here are a few of our favorites that we pulled from the same-day slideshow we created at the reception:

Normally we hang the dress up in a window or on a pretty wall, but the boys were wandering around and we didn’t want to risk Kyle seeing the dress early, so we decided to just stick it in the closet. It turned out surprisingly well, especially framed by the super red bridesmaids dresses!

We just loved this cool walkway, especially the way the light was coming through all the windows. Amanda and her girls thought we were crazy for asking them to walk down a dark hallway, but we’re pretty sure they loved the end result.
Jake got this great candid shooting through a door crack of Kyle waiting for his groomsmen to arrive.

This has come to be one of our most-requested photos.. One of our former grooms, Nick, described it as “the mafia pose.”
How gorgeous is this church? The altar has a great stone wall with a cross lit up by different colored spotlights. It looked more like a rock star stage than a church! We found out later that this is a pretty big-deal sanctuary.. Point of Grace is actually doing a concert here soon!
When we are graced with beautiful blue skies like this, we just have to take advantage of it!

Another great first dance shot. Sometimes it’s the details like this that have the most emotion in them.
Their super cool coordinator Tammy Sharpe of Sharp Weddings and Events had a horse-drawn carraige waiting at the end of the night to carry them off to their hotel room (which she also decorated during the reception!). Tammy did a fantastic job, we highly recommend her!
Amanda and Kyle, we really enjoyed being a part of your wedding day. Thank you so much for allowing us to be there with you! Have fun on your honeymoon!
